Decision and Deposit:

Information Pack: After your visit, if you decide that a German Rottsky is right for you, you can place a deposit. We will then provide you with an information pack detailing each puppy’s personality and traits.

Informed Choice: Take your time at home to review the information pack and make a calm, informed decision about which puppy best suits your lifestyle.

Reservation and Preparation:

Puppy Reservation: Once you’ve made your choice, we will reserve your selected puppy and continue to give them all the love and care they need until they are ready to join your family.

Home Day: On the designated Home Day, you will pick up your well-loved and cared-for puppy, ready to start your journey together.

By following this thoughtful process, we ensure that both you and your new puppy are perfectly matched for a happy, fulfilling life together.

All puppies will receive their first vaccination, regular worming treatments, thorough health checks, and a microchip. We have chosen not to administer flea treatments due to recent studies highlighting their effects on dogs, humans, and the environment. Instead, we will regularly check for fleas and use home remedies if needed.

Nutrition and Home Preparation: Your puppy will come home with a one-week supply of homemade, organic puppy food of the highest quality. This nutritious food includes grass-fed beef, wild salmon, oysters, wild rice, and more, ensuring each puppy gets the best start in life. Detailed information on the recipe will be provided if you wish to continue feeding your dog the same high-quality diet as they grow. Their mother has been on this diet before, during, and after pregnancy to maintain optimal health for both her and the puppies.

Home Day Essentials: On Home Day, you will receive:

• A socialisation checkpoint

• A brief report on your puppy’s progress in 'Puppy School'

• A complimentary puppy pack with gifts for your new puppy

• A hand-knitted blanket that smells like home to your puppy

• Photographs of your puppy with their family

Visitation and Transition: You are welcome and encouraged to visit your chosen puppy regularly once they reach 4 weeks old. Please bring a small blanket from home; this will be used during ‘Mummy and Me’ time to help your puppy associate your home’s scent with comforting experiences, making their transition easier.

If you have a dog at home, we can provide a blanket with the puppies' scent to help your dog become familiar with the new addition. We can also discuss additional strategies to ease the transition if you already have a dog.

Socialisation and Training: The puppies will be socialised through car journeys, exposure to loud household noises, handling by various people, interaction with older dogs, children, and elderly individuals with dementia. They will also be bathed, we will use a nail grinder on them, and regularly brushed. You can opt for crate training, we understand that some people prefer to use crates and others don’t. If you would like a full list or want your puppy to be socialised with something specific, let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate.

The puppies will be ready to join their new homes at 10 weeks old, on or around July 23, 2024.
